US Shipping Options, and when will I get my item

US shipping costs are included in the price of items, and are sent through the US Postal Service.  Books will be send via Media Mail with tracking.  Butterflies and built robots are usually sent Priority Mail with tracking.  Large orders which do not include books may also be sent Third Class with tracking.  Everything else is sent First Class.

You can request Express Mail shipments (one day delivery) for an added cost.  Priority mail typically delivers in two days.  You can also request Priority Mail shipments instead of First Class/Third class/Media mail, but you will need to pay $4.00 more to cover this cost. If we give you a tracking number, you can go to the US Post office web site to check the progress of your shipment.

How long does it take for us to fill orders? We usually send first class items out the next day:  small kits can go in the mailbox, so they take 0-2 days to process.  Larger orders that require tracking take 1 - 4 days to process and take to the post office.  If something is out of stock, we will let you know via email. 

How long will the post office take to deliver your item?  From experience, only God knows.  The US Postal Service surely does not.  We find that Priority Mail can take 2-5 days for delivery, First Class and Media mail takes 2 days to 3 weeks!
